Environmental Value
Our environmental approach emphasizes good agricultural practices, within a framework of responsible production strategies.
Our strategies to take care of the soils include no-till farming, crop rotation, variable rate fertilization and precision agriculture. The impact of our activities is monitored through nutrient analysis, water testing and soil sampling.

We measure our carbon footprint and monitor scope 1, 2 and 3 indicators in all our agricultural operations, with the aim of implementing operational improvements to reduce our environmental footprint.

We manage waste in the fields using separation and classification, as the case may be. Each type of waste follows a circuit and goes through appropriate treatment until its final disposal.

To reduce the environmental impact, we make use of blue or green band phytosanitary products.
Social Value
We promote and support the development of our team and strive to strengthen our relationships with the communities where we operate. We are committed to contributing to local development, education and professional training.
Local Development
We promote local development by creating direct and indirect employment. We provide technical and economic support for our contractors, and we build relations with local suppliers in the areas where we operate.
Education
We promote the education of families living in our fields and the community as a whole, primarily in the schools located in the areas where we operate.

Together with the Mundo Sano Foundation , we foster education and prevention of mosquito-borne diseases in schools, as part of the educational project “Prevention in Action.”
Continued Education
Throughout the year, we implement technical training activities for the different teams that work at our company. Constantly deploying leading-edge technology, we have a commitment to the skills-building of both our staff and our contractors.

Our Annual Training Plan includes training in First Aid, CPR, use of fire extinguishers and fire management.

Furthermore, we implement traineeships in our venues, with the aim of strengthening the ties between the company and the community. We coordinate this program with government agencies and non-governmental organizations. Traineeships serve as a first job, enabling youth from rural areas to gain experience and engage in agricultural activities as they join the labor market.
CRS Certification
Since 2021, our soya production has been certified under the CRS (Certified Responsible Soya)
standard, a hallmark of responsible production. In addition to complying with the applicable legal framework, certification requires that production take place in areas that have not suffered deforestation, while meeting other requirements in terms of transparency, productive efficiency, social inclusion, fair working conditions, and demonstrating continuous improvement.
